Ingredients

Turkey 38%, Filling (turkey, sauce (water, turkey stock, sauce powder (modified maize starch (sulphites), cream powder (milk), dried onion, onion powder, salt, sugar, herbs, yeast extract, herb extract)), Pastry: wheatflour (with calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine & raising agents (calcium phosphate/sodium bicarbonate), margarine (palm & rapeseed oils, water, salt, emulsifier: (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids)), natural vegetable colours (annatto/curcumin), natural flavouring), shortening (palm, coconut & rapeseed oils), preservative (potassium sorbate)), Glaze: (water, maltodextrin potato, modified maize starch, dextrose, stabiliser (carboxy methyl cellulose), natural colour (annatto), caramel).

Heating guidelines

In the oven This wonderful pie can be eaten hot or cold, defrost the pie overnight in your fridge, and warm through in the oven;

Small (180oC/Gas mark 4 for 15-20 mins, 190oC Non Fan assisted).

Medium (180oC/Gas mark 4 for 25-30 mins, 190oC Non Fan assisted).

Large (180oC/Gas mark 4 for 40-45 mins, 190oC Non Fan assisted).

Pour over some extra gravy if you wish. Remember, for us to add more gravy, we would have to reduce the meat content! 

ENSURE PRODUCT IS PIPING HOT THROUGHOUT BEFORE SERVING

Microwave Although our pies "can" be microwaved (remove foil for extra safety) we dont recommend this as it will cause the pastry to become too soft and will ruin the texture, for best results heat in a conventional oven for the times and temperatures given above.

Locally Farmed beef reared on the banks of the river Trent, we use chuck steak and forequarter cuts of beef in this the most popular of our savoury pies. The beef is slow cooked overnight in order to make the meat tender. We then add a rich ale gravy. All encased in our melt in the mouth shortcrust pastry.

Our special pie pastry does NOT contain any hydrogenated fats or oils, and uses only vegetable margarine & shortening.

  • Large: Serves 5 to 6 portions
  • Medium: Serves 3 to 4 portions 
  • Small: Serves 1 to 2 portions

Top quality

I haven't used this company before but spotted their stall at the Lincolnshire food and gift fayre, wow so glad I bought this pie from them, it was gorgeous, so packed with turkey, that melted in my mouth, the pastry was also delicious. I don't usually leave reviews but this pie is so good I had to say well done to the company for making a top restaurant quality pie and in future I will be using your delivery service for all my future pastries.

Disappointed

Couldn’t really taste the turkey, overtaken by taste of sage. Lack of solid turkey.

Full to the brim

This was a really tasty meal. We don’t normally go for this type of flavour as we prefer red meats but this was a lovely alternative & worth the cost.
