This week saw the culmination of the British Pie Awards and we’re proud to announce our Salmon & Broccoli Pie received a bronze award! This is particularly pleasing following our success in 2023 with our Black Cherry Pie. Hopefully next year we can take top spot!
Stevenage
Chris would like to give a huge shout out to all his regular customers that attended Stevenage, it is always a pleasure to catch up with everyone at this monthly Farmers Market. Our Salmon and Broccoli was a hit, given its success at the Pie Awards along with all the usual favourites including our delicious Fruit Pies. Chris is looking forward to joining you again on Saturday 13th April so pop along and say hello.
Fulbeck
Denise was at Fulbeck and was over the moon to be back at this picturesque Artisan Market, which is in full swing again, happening every month up to December. There was a fantastic atmosphere with the folk singers joining us on the lawn throughout the day and lots of people milling around. We decided, with it being Mother’s Day on the Sunday, that we would take along some of our cake range and they proved very popular, along with our traditional Beef & Ale which is always a firm favourite with our customers. Denise is looking forward to being back there again next month on Saturday 13th April. Hopefully we will see you there.
Belper
Anna had a super day at the Belper Farmers market, which is a firm favourite with our customers. She was busy all morning sorting all the pie requirements for our regulars, it was so nice to see some new faces at the market too. We had a large range of pies for this event and the usual suspects were flying off the stall. Anna will be back with you again on Saturday 13th April and very much looking forward to it.
St Albans
Chris was in his usual spot at St Albans Farmers Market, this popular market was very well attended, despite the extremely wet weather. He would like to thank all his regular customers for their ongoing support each month at this event. Chris is looking forward to seeing you all again on Sunday 14th April.
